Terms of Use

Article 1 – Purpose

These Terms of Use (ToU) define the conditions under which users (hereinafter "Users") access and use the IndexMe website, which allows the creation and publication of personal and/or professional profiles, visibility management, appointment booking, as well as additional features such as chat or statistics.

Article 2 – Registration and access

  • Access to the Site is free for creating a basic account.
  • Registration requires accurate information (name, email, etc.).
  • The User is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential.
  • Any activity carried out via the account is deemed to be performed by the User.

Article 3 – Use of the service

The User agrees not to:

  • Publish content that is unlawful (hateful, defamatory, etc.).
  • Impersonate a third party.
  • Use the Site for fraudulent purposes or spam.
  • Disrupt the proper functioning of the Site (hacking, scraping, etc.).

Article 4 – Paid subscriptions

Certain features are offered as paid subscriptions. Prices are shown in EUR including VAT. Payments are secured and managed by third-party providers (e.g. Stripe).

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services fully executed before the end of the withdrawal period or whose execution has begun after the consumer's express prior consent and express waiver of their right of withdrawal.

By subscribing to a paid subscription on IndexMe, the User acknowledges that access to the included features is provided immediately after payment and expressly agrees to waive their right of withdrawal.

No refund will be made for a subscription period already started. The User may, however, cancel their subscription at any time; cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Article 5 – Responsibilities

  • The User is responsible for the content published on their profile.
  • IndexMe is not responsible for content published by Users.
  • IndexMe does not guarantee uninterrupted service availability.
  • In case of a dispute between Users, IndexMe cannot be held responsible.

Article 6 – Intellectual property

The Site and its content (logo, design, code, texts) are protected by copyright and remain the property of IndexMe. The User retains their rights to their content but grants IndexMe a non-exclusive license to distribute it on the platform.

Article 7 – Personal data (GDPR)

IndexMe collects and processes personal data (account, IP, cookies, payments) in compliance with GDPR.

Data is kept for the duration of the account use + 3 years after deletion.

The User has the right to access, rectify, delete and object by writing to contact@indexme.com.

Article 8 – Termination

The User may delete their account at any time. IndexMe reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of violation of the ToU.

Article 9 – Applicable law

These ToU are subject to French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the publisher’s registered office.
